200 Years in Edenderry – A Celebration – 27th October 2013

Edenderry Friends invite  you to join  in a celebration of Edenderry Meeting House, on Sunday 27 October 2013.
Meeting for worship at 11.30, followed by some interesting short talks about Quakers in the midlands during the last 300 or so years.
Please bring a picnic lunch. Edenderry friends will provide tea/coffee and biscuits.

Quakers have been meeting in Edenderry for over 300 hundred years and for 200 years in the present Meeting House. It is hoped to have the nearby Quaker burial ground open during the afternoon for those who may wish to visit.
The Meeting House is located on the right of the main Dublin road leading into Edenderry, past the LIDL supermarket and petrol station. It is surrounded by a high stone wall, and the main gate faces onto the street near a sharp bend in the road.
Meeting for Worship is held from 11.30am to 12.30 on the last Sunday of every month, followed by tea and coffee.
