Nominations Course – Fri 17th to Sun 19th Jan 2014 – Quaker House Dublin
For Friends involved or interested in, Nominations processes at all levels. The course will explore Quaker nominations procedures and help participants to reflect on the processes with experienced Woodbrooke tutors.This is a non-residential course, with accommodation available at the Orlagh Centre for those who need it. The cost of this accommodation will be covered from Training funds.
Cost of Course: €50/£45 (Your meeting may help with costs, some bursaries are available).
Quaker Studies Course – What is My Ministry? – Fri 21st to Sun 23rd February
This course will study Ministry in its widest sense. Led by experienced Woodbrooke tutors, it will encourage Friends to examine what their own particular Ministry may be in the context of their Meeting, in Ireland Yearly Meeting and in the world. This course will be based at the Orlagh Centre.
Cost: Residential €100/£80 Non-residential €75 / £70
The Orlagh Centre is located not far from Quaker House, on Old Court Road, Dublin 16. It is a comfortable and peaceful retreat centre, set in its own grounds.
Register your interest with the office by Monday 16th December. Further information will be sent when available. Previous courses have been very full, so register early!
Preference will be given to Friends who can attend for the duration of a course.
