UPDATE SEPT 4TH 2020:
Unfortunately Eustace Street Meeting House is closed to in-person Meeting for Worship for the foreseeable future.
However, online Meeting for Worship is being held Sundays 10:00 – 11:00 and Thursdays 19:00 – 19:30. Please contact email@example.com for details.
This is the Dublin city centre Meeting. Eustace Street runs between Dame Street and the south quays. South Great George’s Street is opposite the Dame Street end, and the Millenium Bridge is opposite the other end. The Irish Film Centre is beside the Meeting House, which is within easy walking distance of most city centre bus termini and Trinity College.
A plaque has been placed in the hallway of the Irish Film Institute, 6 Eustace Street, giving brief details of the history of the premises, which previously housed the central offices of The Religious Society of Friends in Ireland.
Meeting for worship is at 11 am on Sundays. The Meeting Room is on the first floor. If no one is at the door, ring the bell located just inside the main door on the left.
There is also Meeting for Worship between 6.15 pm until 6.45pm every Thursday followed by tea and coffee.
Usually there is no Sunday School or Junior Meeting.
The Eustace St Meeting is officially known as ‘Dublin Preparative Meeting’, and is part of Dublin Monthly Meeting.
Dublin Quakers (Eustace St) have launched their new website. The site contains details on the history of the Quaker meeting on Eustace Street, which dates back over 300 years. It also includes an introduction to Quaker Meeting for Worship, location details, news and events, and information about room hire.
