Ireland Yearly Meeting Recording Clerk, Mary F. McNeilly, is available Wednesday (9am – 1pm) and Thursday/Friday (9am – 5pm).

Dublin Monthly Meeting Record Clerk, Valerie Howard, is available Monday to Wednesday (9am – 5pm).

The Clerk of Ireland Yearly Meeting,,  and the Clerk of Yearly Meeting’s Committee, may be contacted via the office.

Historical Library – Quaker House Dublin

The Historical Library is located at the same address as above and will be happy to reply to questions on genealogy. The reading room is normally open on Thursday mornings from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm.  The Curator is Christopher Moriarty.

Public Transport to Quaker House Dublin

Bus
From centre of Dublin, take bus 15B to Stocking Avenue.  It stops just past the roundabout which is outside Quaker House.  Timetable for 15b bus route (Dublin Bus Website).

Train
From mainline stations, take the Luas (Red Line) to Tallaght, and a taxi to Quaker House. (Probably 10-15 euro)

Finding Quaker House by car

The Library is in Quaker House on Stocking Lane, going up the hill on left after crossing bridge over M50 and immediately after taking first exit from roundabout.  Signpost on right says ‘Bloomfield, Quaker House’. 

Quaker House is first building on left after entering the campus.

 Coming from M50:

Leave M50 at Junction 12

 Follow Knocklyon sign to first roundabout

 Take second exit ‘Scholarstown’

 At second roundabout

 Take third exit ‘Scholarstown’

 First turn right at traffic lights on to Stocking Lane at signpost for Killakee and Woodtown.  First exit from Stocking Avenue roundabout after crossing motorway bridge.  Left immediately after roundabout, signpost Bloomfield, Quaker House

 Coming from Yellow House at Rathfarnham

 Follow signposts for Glencree

 Take second exit from Ballyboden roundabout

 Take first turn right (very shortly after roundabout)

 Then pass entrance to housing estate,  and turn left on to Stocking Lane at signpost for Killakee and Woodtown. First exit from roundabout after crossing motorway bridge.
