Young Friends in Ireland

In many Meetings there are children and young people. During Meeting for Worship, babies, childrenYoung Friends Ireland Logo and young people are cared for through age-appropriate activities, called “Children’s Meeting”, “Junior Meeting” or “Sunday School”.  All Meetings adhere to the Ireland Yearly Meeting Child Safeguarding Policy and associated appendices.

There have at various times been Youth Clubs for teenagers in Dublin, the Belfast area and Cork when there have been enough young people in this age range, which usually met on a monthly basis. These groups are dormant at the moment, but will become active again when conditions allow.

Young Friends hold a variety of events, in particular Ireland Junior Yearly Meeting
