IYM’s new Youth Support Worker, Kit Harty (Limerick Meeting) has officially started in their post as of May 1, 2024. The post is intended to promote, support and facilitate youth work within the Society of Friends in Ireland.

Generally speaking, Kit will be providing connectivity and support to young people and adult Friends working with young people in their local Meetings, and also providing access to resources and information for these same groups.

Kit will be working on these and other tasks over the coming months. One of the first activities they will be undertaking is assisting with the children and young people’s programme at IYM 2024. This page will be updated once information about other activities and events becomes available. In the meantime, wish Kit well as they begin to settle into this post!
